1979 Concert Tour of France and Switzerland

About Performance

The Waseda University Symphony Orchestra France-Switzerland Concert Tour is the Waseda University Symphony Orchestra’s second overseas performance trip. In May 1979, after winning the Karajan Competition, he was invited to perform at the Evian Festival in France. *We performed at the 4th Evian Music Festival on May 5th and 12th. *We recorded “The Rite of Spring” by Maison de Carriop in Thonon, France.
